It was way back in 2007 when we, Pistol Clothing, opened our first online website for designing t-shirts in Australia. At that point in time, one-off custom t-shirts made to order and merchandising were not as easily available as they are today.
The offset printing process was cumbersome, expensive, and we needed a minimum order of 100 units or more to make the cost viable - for both the printer and the customer. Seizing an opportunity in a growing need for these requirements, we focused our efforts on building a fledgeling business based on a new, digitally-based printing model.
Armed with a passion for printing tees, the website was an instant success, with customers able to order one-off, full-coloured t-shirts using a new way of printing. This is known as "Direct To Garment" printing.
It wasn't long after that we quickly expanded the business, moving into a showroom and factory, and then purchasing a Kornit Digital Garment Printer. Following this purchase, it gave us the opportunity to expand into printing other areas of clothing items, such as Hoodies, Singlets, and Photo-related gift merchandise, thus broadening our range and potential for growth.
Six years later, we moved into a larger factory and showroom into the diversified industrial area of Marrickville, where we currently operate from - and we haven't looked back since!
We continue to print high-quality and affordable garments for our customers for a variety of purposes, and we only hope to keep growing.

After each garment is printed, we have an important quality check to follow before it is finalised and prepared for the customer.
